Tenants Victoria was formed in 1974 to promote and protect the rights of renters in Victoria. It aims to both help individual renters and work for social change to improve renting conditions.

Our strategic plan sets out our direction for the next 5 years, building on the strong foundations of our previous plan, and putting renters at the heart of everything we do.

We will drive higher standards for fairer renting across Victoria, as the centre of excellence that connects renters to support and shares insights and expertise with government, rental providers and organisations.
