About us
Tenants Victoria was formed more than 45 years ago to promote and protect the rights of renters in Victoria. It aims to both help individual renters and work for social change to improve renting conditions.
Our vision
Safe, secure, and affordable homes for Victorian renters in a fair housing system.

Collaborative – We work together
Optimistic – We believe we can make a difference
Effective – We deliver
Kind – We listen deeply
Our Strategic Plan 2021-2026
We developed our Strategic Plan in 2021. The renting crisis and the Victorian Government’s Housing Statement in September 2023 prompted us to review and update the plan.
