Generation Rent: Open Mic
Share your renting story at MPavilion this Saturday
Join us and contribute your voice – or just listen – to our open mic session’ about life as a renter this Saturday March 11 between 12:30pm and 2pm.
The free event, at the Queen Victoria Gardens opposite the National Gallery of Victoria, is part of the annual MPavilion event series. And to sum up the growing number of renters in our city, we have called the interactive event ‘Generation Rent’.
Are you a renter in Melbourne? Do you know your neighbours? Do you think renters’ concerns really get enough airtime and attention? We will be discussing the big and small questions under the orange pavilion in the park.
The Age property reporter Jim Malo joins Tenants Victoria’s Farah Farouque at this one-off event to explore the present and future of renting in our city through your stories.
Learn more about the event and RSVP to the free event by heading to our Eventbrite page.
